Shock Logger II - Decoy Shock Logger
The Shock Logger II is a set of electronics that Lansmont installs in your product creating a powerful damage logger decoy.
When installed in a computer disk drive you can profile drive assembly operations, handling shocks even installation in a computer. Glass food containers are being made thinner and lighter to save on material and shipping costs. With a Shock Logger decoy you can profile product packaging lines and conveyor operations to look for potential glass bruising from impact events.
The Shock Logger includes a tri-axial accelerometer, a high speed 12 bit A/D converter, microprocessor, non-volatile memory and communication port. It will store any shock pulse above a user defined level in its internal memory for later upload and analysis on a host computer.
