Human Resources Module

The Human Resources module controls personnel and training information for employees within an organisation. Based on three key databases (employee, skill and position). Mango links these databases together in an online system ensuring appropriately trained employees are completing tasks they are qualified to complete.

Every employee represents an irreplaceable resource if managed effectively. To manage your employees effectively and efficiently you need a system that is customizable, reliable, and repeatable. Mango not only offers the ability to interlace employee positions with skill sets and training modules but it creates and stores online records of employee numbers, history, and details which can be accessed either online or exported through comprehensive reports.

Human Resources Online!

Setting up Mango's HR module is simple and intuitive. Your company is split into an organizational chart including branchs and positions. Job descriptions for each position are typed online, or inserted from current company documents. Skills are created and assigned to positions, along with training required and automatic periodic refresher times. Positions are then assigned to each employee and Mango automatically imports the job description and skill set / training required to new employees!

Skill / Training Requirements

Skills are created based on company requirements and are completely customizable. Fields currently supported for each skill include:

  • Name and in depth description of skill / training required.
  • Renewal frequency for re-training or refresher courses.
  • Renewal reminder frequency.
    • Emails sent to employee or supervisor to prompt action.
    • Online event triggered and shown when employee or supervisor logs into system.
  • Administrative renewal reminder frequency
    • Email sent to manager if training is not undertaken.
    • Online event triggered and shown when manager logs into system.
  • Email subject and text settable.

When the skill / training event triggers the user / manager will be asked to sign off that training has been completed, or the skill is still being met by the employee.

Positions & Skill Assignment

Positions are defined and skills / training requirements assigned to each position. When a new employee joins the company their position is defined and all associated skills and training requirements are loaded automatically into the system for the new employee. This ensures human error is kept to a minimum, and that each employee sharing the same position is trained to operate seamlessly with their peers.

Employee Details

Each employee is loaded into the system along with details including:

  • Name, address, and other personal information.
  • Organizational branch.
  • Job description and reporting path.
  • Drivers licence, medical certificates and reference records.
  • Hazard register and document viewing rights.
  • Position within the company.
    • Skills and training requirements are automatically assigned to the new employee.
    • Managers are notified of training requirements.
    • No need to duplicate jobs.
    • Additional skills can be added to employees to allow for specialized positions.

Human Resources Reporting

Customized reports are available at the click of a button. Summaries includiing employee history, count, training, and details can be created, exported and printed.
